 2010 South Suburban Diversity Dinners On the evening of Thursday, April 22, 2010, people will gather at homes and institutions throughout Chicago’s south suburbs for the 13th Annual Diversity Dinners. They will be invited to celebrate the diversity that typifies and enriches the South Suburbs. Guests are encouraged to partake in small dinner parties, in groups of ten, to serve as the backdrop for the evening’s discussions. Each group will consist of people of different races, ethnicities, religions, lifestyles, professions and ages. In its 12-year history, the dinners have attracted over 4,500 participants. Our goal is to bring over 1,000 people together, including teen diners, for this great occasion. |
